Mrs. Schreier's 2nd Grade: About Mrs Schreier: Hi, My name is Mrs. Schreier and I teach 2nd grade at MNW. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself and my family. I grew up in Manson and attended the MNW District my entire school career. After graduating in 1980, I attended Iowa Central Community College for 2 years and then attended Buena Vista night classes while I was an associate with Mrs. Geick. I earned my BA with an early childhood and reading endorsement. I graduated from BV in May of 1984 and started my first teaching job at Manson at the kindergarten level the following August. I have taught everything from Kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, reading recovery and now 2nd grade. I have taught for 25 years and love every minute of it. My husband, Larry and I have been married for 26 years and we have 2 children and one dog. Mackenzie is 22 and is currently student teaching in La Porte City. Trevor is attending UNI and pursuing a degree in the math field. I love to spend time with my family and attend sporting events. Our dog, Brandy is a golden retriever that loves to go on walks. MNW has so much to offer and I am excited to be a part of it. Educationally yours, Mrs. Schreier
